Broadford
The village of Broadford is the second largest on Skye and makes a good base for exploring the Cuillins.
Walking and climbing are the big pursuits in this area, as it is dominated by the magnificent Cuillins. Broadford is a convenient place to stay for indulging in these activities. Kids might like to visit the Skye Serpentarium, with its snakes and lizards. The Skye Environmental Centre looks after otters, seals and other marine and bird life.
