The small but lively village of Carrbridge can be found in the heart of the Scottish Highlands at the northern gateway to the Cairngorms National Park and is home to the Landmark Forest Adventure Park - one of Scotland's top visitor attractions.

Surrounded by spectacular forest, moorland and mountain scenery, Carrbridge is situated within Badenoch and Strathspey, just seven miles north of Aviemore and around 25 miles south of Inverness with bus, rail and links to all major airports. The first of the Scottish ski villages, Carrbridge provides the ideal base for both summer and winter visitors for a truly memorable Highland holiday.

As well as its ancient packhorse bridge - the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands - the village is renowned for its traditional and contemporary music and eclectic programme of events including the annual Carrbridge Live arts and music festival, the Carrbridge Gathering and Scottish Open Chainsaw Carving Championship and the World Porridge Making Championship, which is followed by connoisseurs of Scotland's national dish across the world.

There is a wide choice of accommodation to suit all budgets including hotels, guest houses, B&B's, self catering hostels and bunkhouses. The village also has its own golf course, bowling green and pony trekking centre while there is also a wealth of tourist attractions and outdoor activities right on the doorstep including walking, climbing, mountain biking, bird-watching, pony and quad bike trekking, watersports, golf and skiing and snowboarding.
