Cambuslang
Cambuslang is a suburban town situated about 6 miles southeast of the centre of Glasgow.
As a settlement, Cambuslang has had a long history, much of which was built on the area's prosperous mining and engineering industries, the majority of which are no longer operating. Today, the town has a busy central shopping area, surrounded by Victorian and later housing developments.
The town enjoys excellent road and rail links with Glasgow, and via the nearby A74/ M74, with the rest of the central belt.
