Glasgow Airport

Glasgow International Airport lies 8 miles to the west of the city of Glasgow. It is the busiest of Scotland's three main international airports with its two runways handling around 8 million passengers each year.
The airport offers business travellers dedicated work spaces featuring payphone, payfax and modem facilities. There are also a range of childcare facilities and children's play areas. For travellers with special needs, phone 0870 040 0007 to pre-arrange assistance or check available facilities.
There are a variety of transport options for getting to and from the airport, chiefly by road. The airport is about 20-25 minutes drive from Glasgow city centre and about 5 minutes from Paisley, the nearest town. There are frequent coach connections with Glasgow and ever-present taxis. Glasgow Airport does not have direct rail access at present. The nearest train station is Paisley's Gilmour Street station which can be reached from the airport by taxi or by regular bus services.
