Catterline is a clifftop village with great views of the Aberdeenshire coast south of Stonehaven. Dunnottar Castle is four miles to the north.
Kinneff is a tiny village four miles south of Catterline. The Scottish crown jewels were hidden in a church here for nine years after Cromwell invaded Scotland in 1651.
Inverbervie is a small town further south coast along the coast from Kineff, situated just inland from Bervie Bay.
