Lockerbie

Information enquiry

Lockerbie is a small town 26 miles north of the Border, with excellent access to the rest of Scotland.

Lockerbie has a history closely linked with farming (as well as feuding between local families) and has an appropriately agricultural setting. The town has an ice rink that hosts top class curling events. Lockerbie Town Hall, an interesting building architecturally, is located in the long high street with shops either side. Visitors can travel to Dalton Pottery, where they can 'throw' a pot. The Dryfesdale Memorial and Visitor Centre is a fit and touching memorial to victims of Pan Am 103 on 21 December 1988.
