Newtongrange
Newtongrange is a former mining village in East Lothian.
Situated three miles south of Dalkeith, Newtongrange was once the largest mining settlement in Scotland until the closure of the Lady Victoria Colliery in 1981. In its place is the Scottish Mining Museum.
