Burra & Trondra

Trondra, East Burra and West Burra are small islands off Mainland Shetland.

The small, narrow island Trondra is reached by a bridge across the bay from Scalloway on Mainland Shetland. Nowhere is Trondra more than 1km across, it is a sparsely inhabited island. Further bridges take you on to the elongated islands of East and West Burra, separated by West Voe.
