Big Sand Beach
The beach is sheltered from the onshore wind by Longa Island, making this beach a wonderful location to sit and take in the magnificent view of the mountains of Skye and Torridon. The beach is accessed through extensive sand dunes, which again offer shelter from the wind. A wonderful feature of this coast is watching an unforgettable sunset over the Hebrides. Toilets, showers and a shop providing refreshments can be found in the caravan park adjacent to the beach.
