Ardsheal House Garden

This eleven-acre garden, situated on a pretty peninsula overlooking Loch Linnhe, surrounds an old Stewart mansion house. Much of the present garden and rockery was laid out in the late 19th century and many of the trees including monkey-puzzles, palms and wellingtonias date from that period. A programme of renovation and development is underway, as time and money permits, particularly in the kitchen garden with the planting of a variety of fruit trees, a herb parterre and herbaceous border.
