Glasgow's showcase attraction, Kelvingrove has welcomed more than 6 million visitors since its reopening in July 2006. Inside this magnificant building, 22 themed, state-of-the-art galleries house an astonishing 8,000 objects. The internationally significant collection are extensive and wide ranging, covering natural history, arms and armour, art from many art movements and periods of history, and much, much more ... there is even a real Spitfire!
Masterpieces by Dali, Van Gogh, Monet and Botticelli will be showcased in inspiring new settings, and a unique Glasgow Style Gallery will feature the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is located in picturesque Kelvin Park in the popular West End of the city and is easily reached by public transport. As parking is limited at the museum we would encourage you to use public transport as far as possible.
