Glencoe & North Lorn Folk Museum

Housed in traditional 18th century thatched cottages, the museum contains a large variety of artefacts that provide a rich insight the history of Glencoe area and its people. The museum's collections include Jacobite relics, costumes, china, toys, domestic utensils, medical items, agricultural tools, paintings and photographs. Treasures include weapons found in the thatched roofs of local houses where they lay concealed for more than 200 years after the battle of Culloden. The museum hosts an annual exhibition and events throughout the season that provide something new to see and enjoy.
