This Reserve is located at one of the highest mountains in Easter Ross (1046m) and this attracts many people to the area. It is home to many interesting plants like dwarf birch, dwarf cornel, cloudberry and a variety of wildlife including red deer, roe deer, golden eagle and pine martin. A signposted footpath leads through the forest onto the reserve from the car park.
