Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve
Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve

This reserve occupies a stunning coastal location where a river flows through a tidal basin. Common seals regularly haul out on the mudflats at low tide and you can enjoy great views of wildfowl and waders. Sand dunes and coastal heath are rich in wild flowers and the attractive pinewood plantations provide a home for flowers more usually seen in ancient native pinewoods.
