Dundee's largest public park
Covering an area of over 400 acres, with no fewer than 190 species of tree, Camperdown Country Park is the largest public park in Dundee. Open all year, the park offers a range of activities including, an 18-hole championship golf course, Camperdown Wildlife Centre, a pirate-themed adventure playground, a duck pond and woodland trails.
The Park also hosts a variety of events taking place throughout the year. Visitors from all over the region come to join in the family fun at the Easter Fun Day. They also come to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the stunning displays and the mouth-watering produce at the Dundee Flower & Food Festival (www.dundeeflowerandfoodfestival.com) held every year during the first weekend in September. The 'Meet Santa', 'Zoofest' and conservation events are popular with visitors to Camperdown Wildlife Centre, combining an educational element and lots of fun.
