Bellahouston Park
Bellahouston Park features a rich variety of landscapes, architectural attractions, history, biodiversity, recreational activities, sport and culture facilities, events and peace and tranquillity that is a rare combination for any park.
Bellahouston contains a Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool, the Palace of Arts Sports for Excellence Centre, Glasgow Ski Centre and Practice Slope, the House For an Art Lover and the Papal Retaining Wall.
Bellahouston Park has been called "The Sports Centre without a roof" In addition to the aforementioned principal feaures the park also contains two children's play areas - including grounds for Play themed sculputure play area, a sculpture garden, two bowling greens, an orienteering course, an 18 hole pitch and put course, an "All Weather" Hockey Pitch, an "All Weather" Running Track - not to mention extensive horticultural features including a walled garden, a Sunken Garden,a Horseshoe Garden and finallly the state of the art Bellahouston Nursery.
