Cairnholy

The site of two remarkably complete Neolithic burial cairns south east of Creetown.
Dating back to around 2000 BC, these chambered cairns are situated in a beautiful and tranquil spot on a hill that offers fine views across Wigtown Bay to the Machars and the Isle of Man on the horizon.
