Join us on a tour of the enigmatic 15th century Rosslyn Chapel, with a trail through the beautiful Rosslyn Glen to view Rosslyn Castle.
Rosslyn Chapel, where work begun in 1446 by Sir William St.Clair third and last prince of Orkney lies 7 miles South of Edinburgh. Our tour guide who is local to Roslin, and has a deep interest in the chapel, will take you on a guided tour pointing out stonework that might otherwise be missed.
See the famed Apprentice Pillar and the unique barrel vaulted roof elaborately carved with flowers and stars. Discover the Dance of Death, Dance Macabre and King Robert the Bruces Death Mask. There are also plants from the New World such as Corn, Cacti and Aloe Cactus and many more carvings to admire.
