Kennedy Park
Kennedy park surrounds Dunure Castle, the ancient home of the Earls of Cassillis. It is only a 5-minute drive from Culzean Castle and a further 10 minutes from Turnberry where the British Open Golf Championships are played. Covering an area of 3 hectares, the park has a football pitch and tennis court. Along the edge of the park is a small stone beach with rock pools which are perfect for children to explore. The park also has a viewfinder that points out places such as Dundonald Hill, the Isle of Bute & Goat Fell, the highest point on Arran. Operated by South Ayrshire Council.
