Rozelle Estate

Rozelle covers an area of 37 hectares, which has a wealth of flora & fauna. The estate plays host to a variety of events throughout the year such as the Ayr Flower Show Scotland's premier horticultural event as well as The Holy Fair. Within the park there is a pond, which has a host of bird life from Swans & Mallards to Moorhens & Herons. Throughout the park there are blackbirds, collard doves, blue tits, housemartins & swallows, woodpeckers, tree creepers & wrens, sparrow hawk & tawny owls. Also to be found within the park are Red & Grey squirrels, Stoats, Weasels & Foxes. The estate has 2 galleries 1 of which is Rozelle house Galleries this is the permanent home to a collection of 54 paintings based on Tam O Shanter arguably Rabbie Burns most famous poem,
Rozelle House is also the home to the Ayrshire Yeomanry Museum. The other gallery has a collection of traditional & modern works by commissioned artists & works purchased by the Maclaurin Trust who are the benefactors of the gallery. Throughout the estate there are a series of sculptures by the world famous sculptor Henry Moore.
