A warm Scottish welcome awaits you at The Glenlivet Distillery.
Our facilities at The Glenlivet Distillery include free guided tours, our in-depth Spirit of the Malt Tour, a gift shop selling a wide range of The Glenlivet whiskies and other gifts, an exhibition, and an excellent Coffee Shop serving a range of light snacks and refreshments including baked potatoes and home baking.
Enjoy a guided tour of The Glenlivet Distillery - the home of 'The Single Malt that Started it all'
Our standard tours of The Glenlivet Distillery are free of charge and depart throughout the day at 15-20 minute intervals. This tour lasts approx. 45 minutes and includes a guided tour of our new distillery expansion (as officially opened by HRH Prince Charles in June 2010), a visit to one of our bonded warehouses and - to finish the tour - a complimentary dram of The Glenlivet.
We also run our Spirit of the Malt Tour. This is an in-depth tour run by one of our experienced guides. This tour lasts between 2 and 3 hours, is limited to a maximum of 12 people, and includes a visit to Josie's Well (our water source), an in-depth tour of the distillery and a tutored tasting of 7 different expressions of The Glenlivet. This tour costs £25 per person, and must be pre-booked and pre-paid. We can run this tour at a time to suit you, depending on staff availability. Here at The Glenlivet Distillery we sell a wide range of The Glenlivet whiskies. Our shop staff will happily assist you in choosing a bottle, with whiskies ranging from our 12 year old, to our limited edition Cellar Collections - a great gift for a special occasion.
