Priorwood Garden flourishes with herbaceous borders, an historic orchard and the famous dried flower garden
A specialist garden where plants gown are selected for their suitability for drying. The colourful and imaginative selection ensures variety for the dried flower arrangements made on the premises and provides material for courses held here on the ancient craft of drying flowers.
The garden also has an orchard with historic varieties of apples which are organically grown. Enjoy the different blossoms in spring, a picnic here in the summer, and catch a glimpse of the impressive ruins of Melrose Abbey which overlook the garden.
Priorwood Garden is a short walk from Harmony Garden.
Opening Hours
Garden: open 1 April to 31 October, daily 10-5 (Sunday 1-5); 1 November to 24 December, Mon-Sat 10-4. Gift shop same dates and also open 5 January to 31 March, Mon-Sat 12-4.
