Getting There by Railway
There are 3 trains a day from Glasgow Queen Street Station to each of Oban and Fort William. There is also an overnight sleeper train from London Euston to Fort William, which travels through spectacular scenery when you wake in the morning.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Glasgow and Inverness airports are both about 100 miles from Appin. Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh airports are a bit further. There are several car hire companies at all airports.
Getting There by Ferry
There is an excellent ferry service directly to Scotland from Zeebrugge to Rosyth (near Edinburgh).
