Strathardle

Strathardle is a lovely river valley lying off to the northwest of the town of Blairgowrie.
A scenic road (A924) runs through the area from Bridge of Cally to the small settlements of Kirkmichael and Enochdhu, then on across the lonely moorland to the popular resort town of Pitlochry. The soft green contours of the strath are best appreciated from the splendid waymarked walking route (10 miles/16km) between Bridge of Cally and Enochdhu. This walk is part of The Cateran Trail, a long distance walk that follows the routes that the cattle rustlers used in the 15th century. Full details from Blairgowrie Tourist Information Centre.
