Located in an inauspicious street in the quiet town of, Robert Burns house is a key pilgrimage site for Burns’ enthusiast from around the world and over the years has attracted many famous visitors including the poets Wordsworth, Coleridge and Keats.
In the house itself you can see Burns’ desk and chair where he wrote his last poems, the famous Kilmarnock and Edinburgh editions of his work as well as many original manuscripts and belongings of the poet and his family. For any Burns’ enthusiast it’s a must-visit attraction.
