Blair Castle sits in the heart of Atholl Estates which stretches accross 145,000 acres of glorious Highland Perthshire and is located at the gateway of the Cairngorm National Park.
The Tullibardine Room is within Cumming's Tower, the oldest and highest part of the castle. A 15th century addition to the Tower, this room is dedicated to the Jacobite members of the Atholl family.
The Drawing Room is the second largest room in the castle, and represents the pinnicale of the 2nd Duke's aspirations to grandeur.
One of the many wonderful feature within the Derby Room is a bed which was made by Hepplewhite in the late 18th century.
The State Dining Room is one of the most spectacular rooms with in the castle and is often used for receptions and dinner parties.
The taking of afternoon tea would have been a regular social occasion demanding an appropriately elegant setting hence this wonderful room, known as The Tea Room.
The Ballroom is the largest room within the castle and has a magnificent display of stag heads around the walls. It is still used to this day as a superb wedding and function venue, catering for as many as 220 people.

What could be more appropriate to a castle than an entrance hall that doubles up as an ornamental armoury? This was built in 1872 by the Edinburgh architect David Bryce as part of the 7th Dunke's shcemeto convert the Georgian mansion back into a castle again.
Diana's Grove is a tranquil wooded area adjacent to the castle which enjoys some of the country's finest and tallest trees in a space of just 2 acres.
The Blue Bedroom is in the oldest part of the castle, although most of the furnishings are from the 19th century.
One of our pipers plays at regular intervals each day throught the summer opening - just an added feature to your day out at Blair Castle!
Hercules Garden is a stunning 9 acre walled garden recently restored to its original Georgian design.
Blair Castle is open all year round and even in the cold of Winter it still looks magnificent!
