Traquair House

The oldest continually inhabited house in Scotland, Traquair was once a pleasure ground for Scottish kings in times of peace, then a refuge for catholic priests in times of terror.
Traquair House is open Easter to end of October daily. Guided tours for groups by arrangement. There are woodland walks, childrens adventure playground, hedged maze. Restaurant facilities available. Craft workshops, brewery museum and shops brewery museum and shop. Antique shop. Giftshop.
GUIDED TOURS WILL BE OPERATED IN APRIL AND CAN ALSO BE ARRANGED OUTSIDE NORMAL OPENING HOURS. THESE MAY BE CONDUCTED BY THE OWNERS AND SHOULD BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE.
Guided Tours must be booked in advance and normally take place outside opening hours. Personal guided tours by Catherine Maxwell Stuart, 21st Lady of Traquair £10.00per person. Guided tours £7.00 per person. Minimum 20 people
The following options are also available for groups who wish to enjoy a unique Traquair Experience. Reception in the High Drawing Room or Dining Room with Traquair House Ales/Cuvee Catherine (French sparkling wine produced exclusively for Traquair) or Sherry £4.00 per person with canapés £5.00per person.
Coffee & Shortbread £3.50 per person
Exclusive Lunches/Dinners may be arranged for a maximum of 30 people in the Dining Room. Home cooked meals may also be booked for up to 50 people at the 1745 Cottage Restaurant.
