Getting There by Railway
From outside the station on Smith Street turn right, first left onto Kyle Street and continue straight onto the High Street. Auld Kirk Port leading to the Auld Kirk is situated opposite the Lorne Arcade.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From the roundabout outside Glasgow Prestwick International Airport, follow signs for Prestwick Town and then for Ayr town Centre. On reaching the Sandgate, take the first left into Boswell Park then second left into Arthur Street then take the third exit from the roundabout and first left into car park. Exit car park on foot, turn right then right again, cross the road and it is the first left through the Lorne Arcade. Kirk Port, leading to the Auld Kirk is almost directly across the road.
Getting There by Ferry
From Ferry Terminal, follow all routes. Follow signs for Ayr North. At Whitletts roundabout take the 3rd exit, Ayr North, and proceed down Whitletts Road. Pass Racecourse. At next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto King Street and at traffic lights turn left into Main Street continuing onto New Bridge Street continuing onto Sandgate. Take the first left into Boswell Park second left into Arthur Street then take the third exit from the roundabout, first left into car park. Exit car park on foot, turn right then right again, cross the road and it is the first left through the Lorne Arcade. Kirk Port, leading to the Auld Kirk is almost directly across the road.
