Getting There by Railway
From Ayr Train Station, turn left and cross onto Parkhouse Street then left onto Beresford Terrace. Continue straight onto Carrick Road. Monument Road follows on from Carrick Road and Alloway Auld Kirk lies on Monument Road opposite the Burns National Heritage Park.
Getting there by Aeroplane
At the mini-roundabout at the exit of Glasgow Prestwick International Airport take the 1st exit onto the A79. Follow the A79 and signs for Ayr until you come to Ayr Railway Station (on your right). At the double roundabout, follow signs for the A70 signposted Town Centre and Ring Road West . At the T-junction, turn left into Beresford Terrace. Continue forward onto the B7024 signposted Alloway. The Auld Kirk lies on the B7024 Monument Road, opposite the Burns National Heritage Park.
Getting There by Ferry
From Troon Ferry Terminal, follow signs to Prestwick Airport. On reaching Airport, follow signs for A79 (Ayr) until you come to Ayr Railway Station (on your right). At the double roundabout, follow signs for the A70 signposted Town Centre and Ring Road West . At the T-junction, turn left into Beresford Terrace. Continue forward onto the B7024 signposted Alloway. The Auld Kirk lies on the B7024 Monument Road, opposite the Burns National Heritage Park.
