The Old Bridge House Museum

Cross the 15th century Devorgilla Bridge to the Old Bridge House. Built in 1660 into the sandstone of the bridge itself, Dumfries' oldest house is now a museum of everyday life in the town. You can see the family kitchen, nursery and bedroom of a Victorian home and pay a visit to an early dentist's surgery! A museum trail brings the story alive.
