Eyemouth Museum

The central point of the exhibitions is the magnificent 15 x 4 ft tapestry which was sewn by local ladies to commemorate the Great East Coast Fishing Disaster of 1881, when 189 local fishermen were drowned. Exhibitions also on Farming, Milling, Blacksmith and Wheelwright, and of course our Fishing heritage. Temporary Exhibitions. Souvenir shop. Wheelchair access to main exhibition area. Children up to 16 free if accompanied by an adult. Dressing up boxes.
