Getting There by Railway
From the railways station at Cumnock, turn left on to the Ayr Road. Turn on to the A70 (signposted Muirkirk, Ediburgh). Continue along the road until reaching Muirkirk. Go straight through the traffic lights and stay on the road for approx 3 miles. Glenbuck is signposted on the left hand side of the road.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From the roundabout at Prestwick Airport, take the exit for the A79. At Monktonhill rounabout take the exit for the A78 (Signposted Ayr, Kilmarnock). At the Dutch House roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the A77 (signposted Ayr). At the Sandyford Toll roundabout take the 2nd exit (signposted Ayr, Stranraer). At Whitletts roundabout take the 2nd exit (signposted Stranraer) Continue along the A77 entering Ayr. At Holmston roundabout take the 1st exit on to the A70 (signposted Cumnock). Reaching Cumnock take the turn off for Muirkirk, Edinburgh. Continue along the road until reaching Muirkirk. Go straight through the traffic lights and stay on the road for approx 3 miles. Glenbuck is signposted on the left hand side of the road. Parking is available.
Getting There by Ferry
From Troon Ferry Terminal take the 1st exit on to Port Ranald Drive (signposted all routes). Continue on to North Shore Road B746. Keep right (signposted all routes). At T-junction turn left on to the A759 (signposted Kilmarnock, Irvine) At the next roundabout take the exit for the the A759 (signposted Kilmarnock) At the roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the A78 (signposted Prestwick Airport (A79), Ayr (A77). At Monktonhill roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the A78 (signposted Ayr, Kilmarnock). At the Dutch House roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the A77 (signposted Ayr). At the Sandyford Toll roundabout take the 2nd exit (signposted Ayr, Stranraer) At Whitletts roundabout take the 2nd exit 9signposted Stranraer) Continue along the A77 entering Ayr.
