Cumbernauld Glen

This reserve contains ancient woodlands in the heart of Cumbernauld. Split into two parts, Cumbernauld Glen and Vault Glen, it is a valuable area of woodland providing much-needed recreational space for the townspeople. A special feature of the glen is the high density of breeding birds.
Species - Bluebells in May and June. Green woodpecker, siskin, blackcap, garden warbler, jay.
Location - The reserve is located in the northern part of Cumbernauld.
