Bankhead Moss

Bankhead Moss is a small raised bog with the characteristic domed centre, one of the last surviving peatlands in the area. The Moss is surrounded by birch and Scots pine, whilst the old drainage ditches have been colonised by willow.
Species - Bog vegetation with sphagnum, sundew, lichens. Birds include redpolls and tits.
Location - South east of Cupar, on the B940 two miles from Pitscottie
