Kilminning Coast

The reserve occupies the slope between the shore and the top of an old raised beach, in places covered with blackthorn and bramble. This locality is one of the best for studying lichens on the south-east coast of Scotland. Archaeological remains range from the Iron Age to both World Wars.
Species - Lichens. Oystercatcher, redshank, eider, sedge warbler, stonechat.
Location - Kilminning Coast is situated just over a mile to the northeast of the village of Crail.
