Possil Marsh

Possil Marsh

Bounded on the east by the Forth and Clyde Canal, Possil Marsh is a shallow loch surrounded by a range of habitats providing food and shelter for over 150 bird species. The marsh is a staging post during the spring and autumn migration for waterfowl and warblers. Circular walk suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.

Species - Reed bunting, little grebe, tufted duck, moorhen, great crested grebe, redshank and water rail.

Location - The reserve lies adjacent to High Possil and Lambhill, bounded by the Forth and Clyde Canal and the A879
