Getting There by Railway
From Lanark follow signs for A70/A73 to Abington. Once through Abington take the B797 to Leadhills. Station Road is a left fork in front of the church after passing school and hotel on left hand side.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow Airport follow M8 East to Junction 8. Then follow M73/4 South to Junction 13. Follow signs to Abington then take B797 to Leadhills. Pass the Hopetoun Arms on the left and bear left in front of church up Station Road. Car park is signed from Station Road.
Getting There by Ferry
From Stranraer/Cairnryan - Take A75 to Newton Stewart then A712 to New Galloway. Follow A702 to Thornhill, left on to A76 to Mennock, take B797 to Wanlockhead & Leadhills. Station is signed off to the right on Main Street in Leadhills.
