Getting There by Railway
Rail stations at Perth, Birnam (Dunkeld), Pitlochry are the closest. Short walk from Perth or Birnam rail stations to the river. Full details from Aberfeldy Tourist Information Centre.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow or Edinburgh airports head north to the city of Perth. Follow the A9 trunk road to Ballinluig and then take the A827 west to Aberfeldy and Kenmore. To access the river at Dunkeld turn off the A9 sixteen miles north of Perth and walk to the riverbank from the village centre. The riverside walkway and North Inch Park are best enjoyed on foot from the centre of Perth.
