Breadalbane Folklore Centre

Overlooking the beautiful Falls of Dochart, the Centre gives a fascinating insight into the legends of Breadalbane - Scotland's "high country". Learn of the magical deeds of St Fillan and hear tales of mystical giants, traditional folklore and clan history. Housed in historic St Fillans Mill which features a restored waterwheel. Tourist Information and gift shop.
This is one of the gateways to Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park - Scotland's first National Park, overlooking the magnificent Falls of Dochart. Even the setting is a real life legend.
By the roaring waters of the Falls of Dochart sat the Celtic monk, Saint Fillan, an Irish prince and early Christian missionary who eventually settled in Glen Dochart and performed many magical deeds.
