Falls of Acharn

The Falls of Acharn are situated close to the village of Acharn on the south east bank of Loch Tay, 2 miles west of Kenmore. The route to the Falls is fairly short (one mile there and back) and well worth the effort.
The clearly defined track starts close to the village centre and heads away from the loch gradually ascending to a small man-made cavern and viewing platform. A good spot from which to appreciate the height and spectacle of the Falls.
Before descending be sure to take in the rugged views to the north - Drummond Hill above Kenmore and the majestic Ben Lawers range.
