Gartmorn Dam Country Park and Local Nature Reserve

The Country Park and Nature Reserve are situated in an area of great natural beauty, centred around Scotland's oldest man-made reservoir, constructed in the 18th century. The tranquility of Gartmorn Dam allows visitors the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the park's scenic splendour. It is the ideal location for walking, cycling, bird-watching and picnics. Orienteering course available. Bank and boat fishing for trout between April and September. Visitor centre with toilets and wheelchair access.
