Buchanty Spout

Buchanty Spout is a waterfall and natural salmon leap on the River Almond. Well worth a visit at any time of the year, but especially in September or October when muscular wild salmon are often seen fighting their way up through the gushing torrents. A narrow track leads from the edge of the carpark down to the River Almond. Rocks near the waterfall can be slippy and care is required at all times.
