Mons Graupius
The first recorded battle in Scotland, mentioned in the chronicles of Tacitus, where native Caledonian tribes led by Calgacus were defeated by the Imperial Roman field army of Agricola. The Archaeodome, in Archaolink, describes Mons Graupius as a part of an audio-visual presentation, and outside the Roman marching camp shows what the invading army's camp was like.
The exact location is uncertain but presumed to be near Huntly.
