Skatie Shore / Highland Boundry Fault
The shore all the way south of Aberdeen is rocky, but there is a small sandy bay at the foot of cliffs at Skatie Shore. The Highland fault-line passes from along the Skatie Shore in Stonehaven in the east, to Helensburgh in the west, dividing Scotland into the Highlands and the Lowlands.
