Regular train service between Perth and Birnam. Walk or taxi from station to reach Atholl Woods.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports head north to the city of Perth. Then take the A9 northbound for 14 miles/22 km to reach Dunkeld. Drive through the village and then take the A923 for approx ½ mile to reach the well signed turn off for the Atholl Woods walk
Getting There by Ferry
From the port of Rosyth head north on the M90 to reach Perth. Then take the A9 northbound for 14 miles/22km to reach Dunkeld. Drive through the village and then take the A923 for approx ½ mile to reach the well signed turn off for the Atholl Woods walk.
