Doon Valley Story
Our permanent museum displays explore some of the rich heritage of the Doon Valley - with a focus on mining and how it affects the communities of the area.
Research Lab
The museum has a large collection of old photographs and maps that can be used by local and history researchers.
Mining And Quarrying
The extraction of the natural resources found in the region has long been at the core of many aspects of the area’s development - its communities, buildings, and economic importance being among them.
