Getting There by Railway
From Dumfries onto Edinburgh Road and the left onto the bypass (A75) going westwards (left) and then north onto the A76 for 15 miles through Thornhill and after 4 miles turn left (signposted Drumlanrig Castle).
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow south M8 to junction 8 Carlisle then A702 at junction 14 onto the M74 take A702 follow signs for Thornhill and Drumlanrig Castle, right onto A76 follow signs for castle.
Getting There by Ferry
From Stranraer follow the A75 towards Dumfries. Turn left onto the A76 for 15 miles. Then turn left, 4 miles north of Thornhill (signposted Drumlanrig Castle).
