Woodside Walled Garden is a thriving local business set in a secluded 2 acre Victorian walled garden in the heart of the Scottish Borders.
Formerly the fruit garden for the nearby Monteviot House, the garden is now the setting for an independent plant nursery that stocks a wide range of unusual hardy perennials, herbs, alpines, fruit, shrubs and trees. Woodside has a reputation for top quality plants, backed by first class service and advice from knowledgeable staff. The garden has an excellent café (much loved by the locals!) which serves soups, sandwiches and cakes, using local seasonal produce and all freshly made on the premises. Woodside is also home to an organic demonstration garden (run by ASK Organic). Woodside Walled Garden is open all year, entry to the garden is free and you are encouraged to explore at your leisure.
