Briarlands Farm is a working mixed farm run by the Inglis’ family where we offer a great day out for the whole family! Visit our farm shop stocked with our own and local seasonal produce, enjoy a tea or coffee with a selection of home baking from Mary’s Kitchen, or visit our Amazing Maize Maze.
Maize Maze
The naturally grown maze covers an area of 5 acres and reaches a height of over 6 ft, creating pathways that will enthral, disorientate and infuriate…. all in the name of fun. The maize maze is designed by the world’s leading maize maze designers and will be open from July.
Funyard
This contains Jumping Pillows. Jumping Pillows provide a great way of exercising and having fun. The pillows are specially designed and constructed with safety in mind being low level and having no sharp edges or steep sides to fall off. It’s a fun and healthy way to keep children (and even adults) entertained all day long. A Straw Mountain tower of straw bales for climbing and exploring, Go Karts, mini Diggers, also a Tyre Maze, Sand Pit and Football Skills Game.
Mary’s Kitchen
At Mary’s Kitchen you will be treated to a delicious meal whether it is a bowl of steaming hot homemade soup or a melt in the mouth strawberry tart!
Sit back and relax while enjoying the scenery.
Enjoy a light lunch menu of homemade soup and filled rolls or baguettes as well as a delicious range of homebaking including traybakes, scones, melt-in-the-mouth shortbread, meringue nests. All baking is done on the premises in our purpose built commercial kitchen and the strawberries and raspberries used in our tarts and meringue nests are grown here on the farm.
