Clience Studio - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From the Castle Douglas Tourist Information Centre coming out of the car park turn left onto the main street, going past the library which is on your left. Clience Studio is a five minute walk straight down the high street (King Street) passing the banks and shops. The gallery is on the right hand side of the road, towards the bottom of town, under the clearly visible town clock tower, on the corner of the Ayr Road and King Street. It has a blue shop front.

Castle Douglas is off the A75 , A713 or A710
From Ayr the journey is approx. 45 minutes on the A713; from Carlisle it is approx. 90 minutes on the M74 to Dumfries and the bypass and A75 from Dumfries towards Stranraer (west)
From Glasgow via Dumfries it is approx. 110 minutes on the M74 andtaking the A701 near Moffat and the A75 from Dumfries.
From Edinburgh it is approx. 145 mins, via A708, A701 and A75 from Dumfries.
From Newcastle upon Tyne it is about 120 mins, (A69 to Carlisle and M74 via Dumfries).
Getting There by Railway

Getting There by Ferry
Arrive from Northern Ireland at Cairnryan in the west, and take the A77 onto the A75 to Castle Douglas (about an hour).
